Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information. WheelPickerApp runs entirely in your browser. Custom wheel entries and presets are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device only. We have no backend that receives, processes, or stores any of your personal information.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use a small number of cookies and localStorage keys for the following purposes:

• Essential: theme preference (dark/light mode), saved wheel presets, and last-used settings — all stored locally on your device.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) to measure aggregated, anonymized usage statistics such as pageviews and session counts.
• Advertising: our third-party ad partners may set cookies and use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (country/region), and referral source. We do not link this data to any personal identity. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Third-Party Advertising

We display advertising provided by third-party ad networks (currently Monetag, and we may add Google AdSense and other networks in the future). All wheel data (entries, presets, theme preference) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server we control. Clearing your browser data will remove all stored information.

Children's Privacy

WheelPickerApp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not store personal data on a server, there is no personal record for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
